I have precious little respect for NGOs (backed by some billionaire) masquerading as human rights champions in China. China is totally free, other than the irritating blocking of websites, which exists partly because of NGOs anyway. There will always be opposition and weird people, but I have never understood what they wanted.
You only can't do stupid things like try to change the government and something juvenile like thinking democracy is the God mandated solution to a disease you suspect exists.
China needs to be very careful, because Amercian and the West will be quite pleased to see it fall, and a split like former Soviet Union happen.
